Privacy Policy
Trudget is built around the idea that a budgeting app has no business knowing your finances. Here's exactly how that works.
The short version: Trudget stores everything locally on your device. We collect no personal data, have no servers storing your information, and share nothing with anyone. Ever.
What data I collect
Absolutely none. Trudget operates entirely on your device. Your budget data, transactions, and any information you enter never leave your phone.
We have no user accounts, no sign-up flow, and no backend infrastructure that stores personal information.
Local storage
All data you enter into Trudget is stored locally using iOS's built-in storage mechanisms. This means:
Your data is only accessible on your device
It is protected by your device's security (Face ID, passcode, encryption)
Deleting the app permanently removes all associated data
We have no ability to access, recover, or view your data
Analytics & tracking
Trudget does not use any analytics tools, crash reporters, or third-party SDKs that track behaviour. I don't know how many people use the app, how often, or what features they use.
I chose this deliberately. The less I know, the less there is to misuse or expose.
Advertising
There are no ads in Trudget, and there never will be. I don't work with ad networks and don't share any data with advertisers — because there's no data to share.
Third-party services
Trudget does not integrate with any third-party services. There are no social logins, no payment processors, and no external APIs involved in the core app experience.
Children's privacy
Because I collect no data from anyone, there are no special concerns regarding children's use of Trudget. The app is safe for users of all ages.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, I'll update the date below and note what changed. Given the nature of the app, significant changes are unlikely.
